Meet the Maker and Explore Our Woodland World
Hello, I’m Sabina, the maker behind the wool.
For over ten years, I’ve been quietly turning soft fibres into small characters and woodland beings through the slow, tactile craft of needle felting. What first began as curiosity quickly became a lasting love for the process of shaping wool into something with its own little personality.
Much of my inspiration comes from nature, folklore, and the feeling that there may be small unseen worlds around us, tucked beneath mushrooms, hidden among wildflowers, or wandering through woodland paths. The creatures I make are my way of bringing a little of that quiet magic into the everyday.
Each piece is carefully handmade, one small stab at a time, using natural wool and traditional felting techniques. No two are ever exactly the same, and I love that every creation develops its own character along the way.
Alongside my finished pieces, I also create beginner needle felting kits and wool supplies, helping others discover the calming joy of working with wool and making something with their own hands.
This little business grew from a love of making, storytelling, and the belief that there is still room in the world for small magic and handmade things.
Thank you for visiting my corner of the woodland.
