A Field Guide to the Woodland Folk

Deep in quiet corners of woodland and garden, small beings are said to appear where nature and a little   magic meet.
This field guide introduces some of the gentle folk who emerge from wool in the woodland workshop.

Mushlings

Small mushroom folk said to appear wherever a little magic lingers in mossy woodland corners.

Curious and cheerful, Mushlings are often spotted near old tree roots, damp forest paths, and places where fallen leaves gather. Each one carries its own tiny personality, shaped slowly by hand from wool.

Bloomkins

Little flower folk said to appear wherever wildflowers bloom and quiet magic takes root.

Bloomkins are gentle garden spirits who favour sunny meadows, hedgerows, and wildflower patches. They are believed to watch quietly over growing things and the small wonders of the natural world

Other Woodland folk

From time to time, other small beings emerge from the wool — inspired by folklore, nature, and the changing seasons.

Some are guardians of woodland paths, while others seem to belong to quieter places: mossy stones, tangled hedgerows, or forgotten corners of old gardens.

No two are ever quite the same.

Born from Wool and Patience

Each woodland being begins as loose natural wool, slowly shaped by hand using traditional needle felting techniques.

Every piece is handmade by Sabina in the woodland workshop, one small stab at a time, giving each character its own personality and charm.
